We have always had pets. Rocket Man died, January 2009. He is greatly missed. A new dachshund puppy has joined us. He is only 8 weeks old and doesn't have a name yet.
We have two yard cats: a sleek black cat named Bella and a gray tabby named Holly. This is Holly, who keeps us safe from large, scary bugs. Digital photo by Keith H. Bowen. We also have a small flock of chickens, and although I like my chickens, they really aren't pets.
